One of the top remaining recruits in the 2023 class has made his commitment.
Eric Dailey Jr., a 4-star forward from IMG Academy (FL), announced Wednesday he will join Oklahoma State next season.
Dailey Jr. is ranked No. 51 in the 2023 class by 247Sports. He held offers from several other schools, including Kentucky, Kansas and Memphis. Dailey Jr. also remains eligible to enter the NBA Draft and OSU coach Mike Boynton is “all in for the NBA” if he chooses that, according to Eric Dailey Sr.
The 6-7 forward joins 6-9 center Brandon Garrison, ranked No. 35 by 247Sports and 6-7 forward Justin McBride as 4-star recruits in the Cowboys’ 2023 class ranked No. 13 nationally.
In an October interview with Rivals.com’s Krysten Peek, Dailey Jr. described what he liked about Oklahoma State.
“They produced the (2021) No.1 pick Cade Cunningham,” Dailey Jr. said. “I like how he plays the big guards; if you’re able to bring the ball up, you know, go ahead, go. I like his system, how he’s a run and gun and plays fast, and that’s what you need.”
Oklahoma State is 9-7 this season. The Cowboys were 15-15 last season.
