Kentucky offers Class of 2024 Camden guard Billy Richmond

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Kentucky coach John Calipari has extended a scholarship offer to Billy Richmond, the 6-foot-7 Class of 2024 point guard from Camden (N.J.) High School.

“He just called and talked about how he loved my game and wanted to give me a full scholarship,” Richmond said.

The Memphis native also holds offers from Memphis, Mississippi State, Louisville, Seton Hall and Saint Louis.

“He’s a 6’7 guard who can play and defend positions 1-4,” said NJ Scholars coach Dante Croft. “He’s super-athletic, a great play-maker, defender and finisher. Billy will be a top 5 in the class by this time next year.”

Kentucky already has commitments from Class of 2023 Camden stars DJ Wagner and Aaron Bradshaw, and has Camden natives Lance Ware and Kareem Watkins on its roster.
