Dan Hurley and the No. 5 UConn Huskies entered Wednesday as one of just 10 undefeated teams in Division 1.
After scoring their first true road victory of the season at Florida, 75-54, the Huskies are the first 10-0 team in the nation and are off to their best start since the 2010-11 NCAA championship team.
The Huskies now have neutral-court wins over Oregon, Alabama and Iowa State (en route to the PKI championship), a home court win over Oklahoma State and a road win at Florida. They are ranked No. 2 on KenPom.com — behind only Houston, the No. 1 team in the AP Poll.

UConn received some boos from the Florida crowd up taking the court for their first true road game of the season, but quickly silenced the crowd and left with yet another dominant victory. Their average margin of victory this season is 24 points.
Adama Sanogo scored 17 points with 7 rebounds and freshman big man Donovan Clingan added 16 and 8 rebounds. Jordan Hawkins chipped in 15 points for the Huskies, who also got 11 from Joey Calcaterra
“It feels good,” junior Andre Jackson said, per Dave Borges of the New Haven Register. “This is the first time this group has played together, away, against the crowd. It was definitely a test of our character as a group and what we’re willing to do to come together through the adversity. Before the game, coach told us, it’s us against the world. We’ve got to stay in our bubble and not try to battle with the fans or the other team.”
The Huskies return to Gampel Pavilion this Saturday to host LIU (1-7) before opening Big East play Dec. 17 at Butler.
