Five star Class of 2024 point guard Elliot Cadeau cuts list to 6 schools

Elliot Cadeau, the 6-foot-1, 165-pound Class of 2024 point guard from Link Academy (MO), has cut his list to six schools, per Tipton Edits.

Cadeau, who has the option of reclassifying to 2023 is down to Kansas, Louisville, North Carolina, Syracuse, Texas, and Texas Tech.

He broke down each school for Tipton Edits:

Kansas: “Kansas is a winning program that is always elite. Their play style is nice and their coach is great.”

Louisville: “Coach Kenny Payne is one of the best coaches I’ve met. I love the culture that he is building in Louisville.”

North Carolina: “I have a really strong realationship with coach (Hubert) Davis. They are a winning program that does great with point guards. I like their style of play a lot.”

Syracuse: “They were one of the first schools to recruit me. They show me a lot of love and I probably would like to visit them.”

Texas: “I was a big fan of coach (Chris) Beard and his achievements so when I was offered by Texas, I was very happy. They have a great program with a great staff.”

Texas Tech: “They were one of the first schools to recruit me. I love their staff and program. I have a strong relationship with the head coach and a couple of the assistants.”

Ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 7 overall prospect in the class of 2024, Cadeau describes himself to ZAGSBLOG as “really quick and fast” as well as “really unselfish and a floor general.”

This season, he’s set on improving his jump shot.

“I feel like everyone can always improve on their jump shot because nobody is perfect,” he said. “I want to get that to an elite level.”
