Class of 2023 four-star Papa Kante set to commit Thursday

By CHARLIE PARENT

Papa Kante, a four-star big-man in the class of 2023, announced he will commit Thursday between Michigan, Rutgers, Maryland, Memphis, and Pitt.

Kante, who moved to the U.S. in 2019 from Senegal, currently plays for the South Kent School (CT.) and the New York Renaissance.

The 6-foot-10 rim protector visited Michigan, Maryland, Pitt, and Rutgers back in the spring.

Kante also recently visited Maryland in September and visited Michigan this past weekend. The Wolverines are the current favorite in his recruitment.
