Class of 2023 Three-Star Guard Dalen Davis Commits to Princeton

By JACOB POLACHECK

Class of 2023 guard Dalen Davis has committed to Princeton, he tells ZAGSBLOG.

“I’m blessed and thankful for all the coaching staffs for recruiting me and believing in my potential at the next level,” Davis told ZAGSBLOG.

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound point guard from Whitney Young (IL), chose Princeton over his other finalist Tulane.

“It felt genuine from a coaching staff point,” Davis said. “They have worked around me, made me a priority from the jump, a family feel on both of my visits there and is a life changing opportunity.”

Davis is ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 43 point guard in the nation and joins shooting guard Jackson Hicke, small forward Derek Sangster and center Jacob Huggins in Princeton’s 2023 recruiting class.

“I was on a visit with Jackson and Derek,” Davis said. “I watched them play on the visit! Tough guys that can shoot, play defense and make plays. I think it’s a great thing when all five guys can make plays.”
