Five-star guard Isaiah Collier sets announcement date

Isaiah Collier, the No. 1 ranked prospect in the Class of 2023 per 247Sports.com, has set a date for his college commitment.

The 6-foot-3 five-star Class of 2023 point guard from Marietta (GA) Wheeler will announce Nov. 16. He is down to Cincinnati, Michigan, USC and UCLA.

That is the same day five-star center Aaron Bradshaw of Camden (NJ) High School will announce.

Last month, Collier hit the game-winning shot at the Under Armour Elite 24 Game in Chicago.

Collier broke down each school with Jamie Shaw of On3.com.

Michigan: “There are definitely a lot of good guards going to Michigan right now. Juwan Howard is an NBA guy. They are getting players and are putting them in the league. I like how they play, and their playstyle and I’m looking forward to learning more about them.”

UCLA: “They’re definitely getting a lot of good players, and I like their play style. They got so many national championships out there; they’re a program that likes to win. And it’s California, a really great experience out there.”

USC: “They are in California, and they put people in the league. I see their guard development. Coach (Andy) Enfield coached at Florida Gulf Coast; that’s Dunk City right there. They get out in transition. They are getting players every year, and they are getting people drafted every year.”

Cincinnati: “The environment was great; the fans there are wild. The fan love is crazy, and that is definitely what I love about them. It was really cool. The coaching staff has been showing a lot of love. They came to my practices and stuff like that. Their whole coaching staff was at my first game. There is a lot of love with Cincinnati.”
