Four-star forward Keanu Dawes recaps Oklahoma State visit, looks ahead

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Keanu Dawes, the 6-foot-7 forward from Houston (TX) Stratford, took an official visit to Oklahoma State this past weekend.

“The visit was amazing,” he said. “The message was that they can help me get to where I want to go and they have proven that with the players that they have had come through the program.”

Asked if he felt like a priority, Dawes said, “Yes sir, most definitely feel like I am a priority for them.”

Oklahoma State’s 2023 class currently includes point guard Jamyron Keller, small forward Connor Dow and power forward Brandon Garrison.

Ranked the No. 27 power forward in the Class of 2023 by 247Sports.com, he previously visited Rice and will still visit Texas A&M (Sept. 16-18), BYU (Sept. 29-Oct. 1) and Utah (Oct. 13-16), although the BYU and Utah dates are in flux.

He broke down each school in a recent ZAGSBLOG post.
