Class of 2023 five-star Xavier Booker commits to Michigan State

By CHARLIE PARENT

Xavier Booker, the five-star forward and No. 3-ranked player in the nation, has committed to Michigan State, he announced with ESPN’s Paul Biancardi on Instagram Live Saturday.

The 6-foot-10, high-flying Booker held offers from more than 30 schools, but named Michigan State, Michigan, Auburn, Purdue, Indiana, Notre Dame, Gonzaga, Ohio State, Cincinnati, and Oregon in his Top 10 earlier this week.

Booker joins four-star guard Jeremy Fears Jr. as the second commit for Michigan State in 2023. The Spartans are also in the mix for players such as five-star Javonte Taylor and four-star Devin Royal.
