Five-Star forward Omaha Biliew commits to Iowa State

By JACOB POLACHECK

Class of 2023 five-star forward Omaha Biliew has committed to Iowa State, he announced Tuesday evening via ESPN.

Biliew, the the 6-foot-8, 210-pound power forward from Waukee (IA) and the Mokan Basketball AAU Program, chose Iowa State over his other finalists which include Kansas, Oregon and the G League Ignite.

“It’s my hometown school,” Biliew told ZAGSBLOG at Peach Jam. “I love the culture over there and the love that Iowa State has shown since I was a kid. What T.J. Otzelberger has going on over there is really great.”

Fresh off a Peach Jam Championship with Mokan Elite, Biliew is currently ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 6 power forward and No. 13 overall prospect in the class of 2023.
