Scotty Middleton, the 6-foot-7 four-star wing from Sunrise Christian (KS), took an official visit to Seton Hall this week.
Middleton is familiar with head coach Shaheen Holloway and the program from his time at The Patrick School before he transferred to Sunrise. Holloway played at St. Patrick High School, the predecessor to The Patrick School.
“Seton Hall was really good, finally getting to see the campus and meeting everybody on staff,” he staff. “And really just getting to see what they have to offer.
“Their message is just really I fit their playing style and would fit right into their system. They are a very tough tough team who takes pride in defense.”
Asked if he could see himself playing there, Middleton said;
“Yes, I can see myself playing for coach Holloway and the way he coaches his guys and makes them play together and hard I think I’ll fit right into that.”
Next up he takes an official to UConn June 21-23.
Ohio State, Texas A&M and reigning national champion Kansas are also in his top five.
