Class of 2023 guard Silas Demary Jr. visits St. John’s, 2 more visits planned

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Silas Demary Jr., Class of 2023 combo guard from Combine Academy (NC), visited St. John’s this week and has two other visits planned.

“St. John’s message was really just to show me how much of a priority I am and [I got a chance] to just hang out with the team and players in person,” the 6-foot-4, 185-pound guard said.

Demary is ranked the No. 20 combo guard in 2023 by 247Sports.com.

“I would say I’m a good all-around player,” he said. “When I’m playing well I’m scoring, playing defense and getting everyone involved.”

He is also set to visit VCU (June 22-24) and Providence (June 27-29).

St. John’s also recently hosted Class of 2023 Christ the King forward Brandon Williams and will also host Class of 2023 Hudson Catholic combo guard Elijah Gertrude (June 10-12) and Class of 2023 Cavalry Christian (FL) guard Carl Cherenfant (June 14-15).
