Four-star small forward Aidan Shaw commits to Missouri

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Aidan Shaw, the 6-foot-8 small forward from Blue Valley (KS), has committed to new coach Dennis Gates and Missouri, he told ZAGSBLOG Wednesday.

He initially committed to ex-Mizzou coach Cuonzo Martin last September, and then decommitted after the coaching change.

The 4-star wing is ranked the No. 14 small forward by 247Sports.com. He also considered TCU, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Creighton, N.C. State, Arizona State, Wisconsin, and DePaul.

“I’m heading to Mizzou,” he said. “I chose them because they came after me hard, showing I was truly a priority.”

As for what skillset he will bring, Shaw said: “I’m a wing that can guard any position. I bring athleticism and defense.”
