Jordan Brand Classic set for Friday in Chicago

The Jordan Brand Classic, now in its 21st year, will host elite level high school senior basketball players as they take the big stage in the same city where Michael Jordan cemented his legacy as one of the greatest players of all time. Honoring MJ’s legacy, the Jordan Brand Classic is a celebration of the next generation of basketball stars and regularly features the best and brightest high school talent in the country. The event has been canceled each of the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but will return in full-force on Friday, April 15 at Chicago’s Hope Academy. The Girls Game will lead the way with a 5:00 p.m. tipoff, followed by the Boys Game at 7:00 p.m. CST.

The Jordan Brand Classic is a unique opportunity for the best high school seniors to unite, following in the footsteps of the games’ alumni like Bam Adebayo, Carmelo Anthony, Bradley Beal, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, LeBron James, Chris Paul, Jayson Tatum, and Zion Williamson, as well as DiJonai Carrington, Charli Collier, Napheesa Collier, Sophie Cunningham, Asia Durr, Sabrina Ionescu, and Satou Sabally.

Rosters for the boys’ and girls’ Jordan Brand Classic teams can be found below.

Duke leads the way on the boys side with three recruits, while Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, Oregon and UCLA have two apiece.

Ticket information for this event will be released at a later date. Follow @Jumpman23 on Twitter and Instagram for the latest updates or visit the official website at JordanBrandClassic.com.

Media is invited to apply for credentials to media day, as well as both the Boys’ and Girls’ All-American games, at: https://jordanbrandclassic.com/media-credential-request-form/
