Class of ’22 guard Judah Mintz wraps up visits, eyeing April decision

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Former Pitt commit Judah Mintz has wrapped up his official visits to Syracuse and Wake Forest and is eyeing a decision next month.

“We finished our last official visit this past weekend and are still eying a decision around early April,” his father Camara said.

Mintz has now visited DePaul, N.C. State, Syracuse and Wake Forest.

On Syracuse, his father said, “Syracuse’s message was that he could come in and play right away and make an immediate impact.”

On Wake Forest: “Wake was really nice. What they have been able to do this year in turning the program around is incredibly impressive. Their pitch was mainly about them being the right fit for his style of play. They create a lot of space for their perimeter players to take advantage of driving lanes and make plays.”

On a timetable on deciding, Camara added: “Everyone is still in the mix. We haven’t made any decisions yet and are going to take the next couple weeks to talk it through as a family.”

He added that any reports that they’ve made a decision are “100% false. “We haven’t made any decisions at all yet,” he added.
