Top-60 guard Chandler Jackson is done taking visits after taking Florida State official

By JACOB POLACHECK

Chandler Jackson, the No. 56-ranked prospect in the class of 2022, will be announcing his college decision on Friday, October 29 at 4:30pm ET, he tells ZAGSBLOG.

“I’m looking at what’s best for me and somewhere I can play,” he said.

Jackson, who will be deciding between Florida State and Tennessee, took his last official visit FSU from Oct. 22-24.

“It was good. I had fun time down there,” Jackson said of his visit. “(That stood out) were how cool the coaches are and how the practices are. They are fun, they have a good time and learn.”

Jackson says the FSU coaching staff pitched him on coming in as a point guard, drawing comparisons to former Seminole and current Los Angeles Clippers guard Terrance Mann.

“I love how they play,” he said. “They can get anyone to the league, if you buy in.”

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound combo guard from Christian Brothers (TN) and the Team Thad AAU program, also took his official visit Tennessee on Oct. 15.

“It was good. I really enjoyed it,” Jackson said following his visit. “I had a fun time. The atmosphere was crazy and the people there were nice and welcoming.”
