Four-star forward Gregg Glenn commits to Michigan

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Gregg Glenn, the 6-foot-8, 229-pound power forward from Calvary Christian (FL), has committed to Michigan, he told ZAGSBLOG.

Glenn is ranked the No. 11 power forward in the Class of 2022, per 247Sports.com, and did not seriously consider any other schools.

“I will be taking my talents to the University of Michigan,” he said. “I will be attending University of Michigan because it is the best fit for me. Coach Juwan [Howard] is not only great coach but he is a mentor for me as well. He has been consistent in creating a relationship with me. He will push me to go hard every day and to be the best player I can be. The school seems to be a great institution and has a lot of school pride.”

As for what skillset he will bring, Glenn said: “The skillset I will bring is my versatility. I can do anything you ask me to do and Coach Juwan sees that. I can play the 1-5, and defend every position if need be for the team. I pass the ball and I’m very unselfish and look for others.”

He joins point guard Dug McDaniel and center Tarris Reed in Michigan’s 2022 class, but Glenn said he plans to recruit Jett Howard, the shooting guard who is Juwan’s son and will announce Oct. 13.

“I am recruiting Jett Howard to come but other then that I feel like we have everything we need that is there already and that is coming, “he said.
