Arizona State lands four-star guard Austin Nunez

By JACOB POLACHECK

Class of 2022 four-star guard Austin Nunez has committed to Arizona State, he announced Sunday via Twitter shortly after his official visit to Tempe over the weekend.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound point guard from Wagner (TX) High School and the Southern Assault AAU Program, chose Arizona State over Creighton, Howard, Florida, Marquette, Texas and Virginia, among others.

Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 12 point guard and No. 77 overall prospect in the nation, Nunez joins Duke Brennan as the second commit in the Sun Devils’ 2022 recruiting class.
