Chris Livingston, the nation’s No. 4 overall prospect in the class of 2022, is headed to Oak Hill (VA) Academy for his senior season, he announced Thursday via Instagram.
“Chris can play any perimeter position in our style of play. He is a tremendous athlete and scorer,” Oak Hill head coach Steve Smith said. “He has the ability to be an excellent defender and rebounder. His leadership should also enhance our team’s ability to tackle the national schedule that we play this year.”
He will be joined at Oak Hill by his twin brother, Cordell Livingston, a three-star guard in his own right.
Livingston, the 6-foot-6, 200-pound small forward out of Akron, OH, is down to a final four of Tennessee State, Kentucky, Memphis and Georgetown and will make his college decision on his birthday, October 15.
He is also considering the NBA G League.
Livingston has already taken official visits to Kentucky, Georgetown and Tennessee State, with plans to visit Memphis this weekend (Sept. 3-5).
Livingston spent the 2020-21 season at Akron (OH) Buchtel High School, averaging 31.1 points, 15.8 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 4.7 steals and 4.0 blocks per game, while shooting 71 percent from the field.
