Kentucky offers five-star combo guard Nick Smith after standout Peach Jam performance

By JACOB POLACHECK

After a stellar performance for Brad Beal Elite in the Peach Jam Final on Sunday, Class of 2022 combo guard Nick Smith has received an offer from the University of Kentucky.

Smith, the 6-foot-4, 185-pound combo guard from Sylvan Hills (AR), led Brad Beal Elite with 31 points on 10-for-18 shooting, as his squad lost to Team Final in the Peach Jam Final Sunday 64-61.

Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 4 combo guard and No. 20 overall prospect in the class of 2022, Smith was one of the top performers at Peach Jam with multiple 30-point performances.

Smith was previously set to announce his college commitment on Nov. 20, but is now planning to take more visits in the fall before his decision.

He has already taken official visits to Alabama (June 1-3), Auburn (June 4-5), Georgetown (June 11-13) and Kansas (June 20).

Smith is also set to visit Oklahoma (Sept. 17-19) and Arkansas (Oct. 15-17) and plans to visit UNC.
