Class of ’22 small forward Chris Bunch updates recruitment after Syracuse, Rutgers visits

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Chris Bunch, the four-star 6-foot-7, 195-pound small forward from De La Salle (CA), too, official visits to Syracuse and Rutgers in the past week but still hopes to take more visits.

“The Syracuse visit was great,” he said. “I love coach [Jim Boeheim] and the staff. It was surreal walking the same halls as Melo [Carmelo Anthony.”

Bunch then visited Rutgers later in the week.

“The visit [to] Rutgers was great,” he said. “It was everything I expected and more at the same time. Their message is if you want to come in and be a priority a scorer, this is where you need to be.”

He hopes to still visit Ole Miss, Florida State, Arkansas, and USC.

“The skillset I can bring to college is I can handle the ball and I can shoot off the dribble with ease,” he said. “My three-point shot is by far my best quality. I can jump out the gym so I can play point guard and shooting guard.”
