Class of 2022 Top-60 forward Isaac Traudt recaps UNC visit, looking to commit before senior season

By JACOB POLACHECK

Isaac Traudt, the nation’s No. 54 overall prospect in the class of 2022, told ZAGSBLOG Thursday that he is looking to make his college decision sometime before his senior season.

“I’m factoring in my relationship with the staff, primarily the head coach,” Traudt said. “My relationship with incoming and returning players, and how I fit the style of play.”

The 6-foot-9, 205-pound power forward from Grand Island (NE) Senior High School, took his fourth official visit to North Carolina from June 27-29.

“It was great,” Traudt said. “The facilities, staff, campus, and players.”

On his visit, UNC head coach Hubert Davis and the rest of the staff talked to Traudt about how they utilize their bigs on the wings.

“They want skilled forwards,” he said. “[What appeals to me] is definitely the tradition of the school and how they have a big family with the players.”

Traudt has taken official visits to Nebraska, Virginia and Michigan State, while also taking an unofficial visit to Creighton on June 1.

Yet, Traudt may not be done taking visits.

“Potentially some after July,” he said.
