Four-star wing Justin Taylor commits to Syracuse

Justin Taylor, the 6-foot-6 small forward from St. Anne’s-Belfield School (VA) and Team Takeover, committed to Syracuse on Saturday.

He chose the the Orange over Indiana, North Carolina, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.

“Syracuse has been recruiting me for awhile now and have made me a huge priority,” Taylor said after his recent official visit. “I think with this being Buddy [Boeheim]’s last year, they want me to come in and take that role over and make an impact right away.”

Taylor joins four-star forward Kamari Lands in Syracuse’s 2022 recruiting class. He is one of several priority recruits for Syracuse, along with bigs Kyle Filipowski and Donovan Clingan and guard J.J. Starling. He is ranked the No. 21 small forward in 2022 per 247Sports.com.
