Andrew Nembhard will return to Gonzaga next season, a source with direct knowledge told ZAGSBLOG.
The 6-foot-5 Ontario native averaged 9.2 points and 4.4 assists for the Bulldogs as they went 31-1 and lost to Baylor in the national championship game. He received a waiver to play alongside Jalen Suggs last season after transferring from Florida.
Gonzaga is losing Suggs, Joel Ayayi and Corey Kispert to the NBA Draft, but adds Chet Holmgren, the projected No. 1 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, and five-star guard Hunter Sallis.
Sophomore forward Drew Timme is expected to at least test the NBA Draft waters but the source said he is expected back on campus.
