Oklahoma lands Duke transfer Jordan Goldwire

By ADAM ZAGORIA

One day after landing brothers Tanner and Jacob Groves on the transfer market, Oklahoma coach Porter Moser has added Duke transfer Jordan Goldwire, too.

“It was a good fit,” said Goldwire, who, like the brothers, was recruited by Moser and assistant Emanuel Dildy. “I connected with Coach Porter and like their style. Being able to play the point” was also important.

The 6-foot-2 Georgia native averaged 5.8 points, 4.0 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 2.3 steals as a senior at Duke. He is known as a terrific defender.

He missed the NCAA Tournament last season but will be hoping to get back there again with the Sooners.
