Arkansas’ Moses Moody declares for NBA Draft

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Arkansas freshman guard Moses Moody declared for the NBA Draft on Friday.

He appeared on ESPN’s “The Jump” to make the announcement.

“I would like to hire an agent and enter my name into the 2021 NBA Draft,” he said on ESPN.

The 6-foot-6 Moody averaged 16.8 points and 5.8 rebounds this past season. He’s rated the No. 21 “Best Available” Prospect, per ESPN.com.

Moody is one of several projected first-round picks coached by Montverde (FL) Academy coach Kevin Boyle, along with projected No. 1 pick Cade Cunningham of Oklahoma State and Scottie Barnes of Florida State. UNC’s Day’ron Sharpe is also projected to be drafted.
