K.J. Simpson decommits from Arizona after Sean Miller’s firing

By JACOB POLACHECK

Just one day after the University of Arizona and head coach Sean Miller agreed to part ways, 2021 four-star Wildcat commit K.J. Simpson has reopened his recruitment, West Coast Elite coach Ryan Silver announced Thursday.

Simpson, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound combo guard from Chaminade (CA), committed to Arizona on August 15 over California, Colorado, Loyola Marymount and USC.

This leaves four-star shooting guards Shane Nowell and Shane Dezonie as the remaining two commits in Arizona’s 2021 recruiting class.
