Kentucky lands Davidson grad transfer Kellan Grady

By JACOB POLACHECK

Kentucky has landed a commitment from Davidson grad transfer Kellan Grady, the school announced Monday.

Grady, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound guard out of Boston, MA, will be eligible to play for Kentucky this fall.

“First, I want to express my eternal gratitude for Davidson College, Coach McKillop and his entire staff for giving me the opportunity to represent Davidson for the last four years,” Grady said. “It has truly been an incredible experience and has made me a better player — and more importantly, a better person.

Grady averaged 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.8 steals per game during the 2020-21 season.

In his four years at Davidson, Grady was selected as an All Atlantic-10 honoree four times and 17.7 points per game.
