Class of 2022 forward Ryan Agarwal has committed to Stanford, he announced Tuesday in a video posted to Twitter.
“I want to thank all the college coaches that have believed in me by providing an interest or offer to attend their school,” Agarwal said in the video. “It’s truly a blessing to experience this recruitment process, a process that I will never forget.
“However, it can only be one and I have decided to go with my dream school, Stanford University.”
The 6-foot-6, 175-pound small forward from Coppell (TX) High School, chose Stanford over offers from Columbia, Creighton, Denver, Harvard, Howard, Marist, Oklahoma State, UPenn, Rice, Saint Louis, SMU and UT-Arlington, among others.
Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 28 small forward and the No. 129 overall prospect in the Class of 2022, Agarwal is the first commit in Stanford’s 2022 recruiting class.
Stanford currently has the nation’s No. 14-ranked recruiting class of 2021 with commitments from five-star forward Harrison Ingram, four-star guard Isael Silva and three-star guard Jarvis Moss.
