The McDonald’s All-American Game selections are out for the 2021 class, despite this year’s game being canceled due to the pandemic.
Michigan commits Kobe Bufkin, Moussa Diabaté and Caleb Houstan were all selected.
Duke and Kentucky each had two commits selected to the rosters.
Duke has now had 84 McDonald’s All-America selections – the most all-time – with 82 coming under head coach Mike Krzyzewski – the most by a coach. This is Duke’s 37th consecutive season with a McDonald’s All-America pick — the longest streak in the nation by 24 years.
With its latest selections, Kentucky has signed 39 McDonald’s All Americans during the John Calipari era, more than any other school in the country during that period. Multiple players from each of Calipari’s signing classes have been tabbed McDonald’s All Americans, including five each in 2013 and 2017.
Six undecided players — Patrick Baldwin Jr., Michael Foster, Jaden Hardy, Chet Holmgren, Trevor Keels and Hunter Sallis — were selected to the rosters.
Sunrise Christian Academy (KS) has two players selected for the games in Baylor signee Kendall Brown and Tennessee signee Kennedy Chandler.
The 2021 class will be honored through a virtual celebration that will highlight the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The celebration will be followed by a one-hour special on ESPN on Saturday, April 3.
