Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski cleared of COVID-19 protocols, set to coach against Wake Forest

BY: JAMES SZUBA

Duke head basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski will return to coach against Wake Forest, the university announced. Krzyzewski produced a negative COVID-19 test; he missed Wednesday’s game against Boston College due to contract-tracing.

Coach K spent over a week in quarantine after coming close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. Associate head coach Jon Scheyer coached the Blue Devils on Wednesday against Boston College, which resulted in 83-82 win.

Duke will play Wake Forest at noon inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Blue Devils are 4-2 on the season.
