Dominiq Penn, the 6-foot-2 guard from Sunrise Christian (KS) and All Ohio Red AAU, committed to Washington on Tuesday afternoon.
“I chose this school because I feel like it was a great fit and I love Coach [Mike] Hopkins and I look forward to help making this program better and win,” he said.
The son of Memphis Grizzlies assistant coach Scoonie Penn, a former star at Boston College and Ohio State, Dominiq Penn chose the Huskies over Kansas State, Minnesota, Tulsa, and Virginia Tech.
“Iām a play-maker that can create for others and score when needed to,” he said.
He is eligible right away and will be on campus this week.
Washington has four-star center Jackson Grant coming in next year as well.
According to 247Sports, Penn is ranked No. 254 nationally and is the No. 38 point guard.
