UConn suspends team activities again after positive COVID-19 test

By JACOB POLACHECK

The UConn men’s basketball program has suspended team activities for the second time in a month, due to a positive COVID-19 test, the school announced Sunday.

The Huskies’ scheduled Big East opener against St. John’s on Friday has been postponed.

UConn played one game in the Mohegan Sun bubble last Thursday, but returned home early Saturday after their scheduled game against NC State was canceled due to a positive test from NC State.

UConn (3-0) previously went into quarantine for 14 days after a positive test on Nov. 5 before resuming operations on Nov. 19.
