Gonzaga played last week against Kansas and Auburn in Florida and announced after the Auburn game that it had positive tests. The NCAA recommends a 14-day pause after a positive COVID test to a Tier-1 individual, and numerous programs are currently paused across the country.

Baylor head coach Scott Drew announced Nov. 23 he had tested positive and the Bears canceled several games, including Empire Classic contests against No. 18 Arizona State and (likely) then-No. 3 Villanova, as well as a separate game at Seton Hall.
Gonzaga (3-0) is next slated to play Tuesday against Tarleton State, while Baylor (3-0) is slated to host Nicholls State that same day.
