Class of 2022 forward D’Ante Davis announced his commitment to Louisville on Saturday.
The 6-foot-6, 170-pound small forward from Warren Central (IN), chose Louisville over Indiana, Xavier, Purdue, Ohio State and Butler, among others.
“The whole coaching staff is great,” Davis told ZAGSBLOG in June. “That’s also one that’s been there from the start. Great energy. I could tell that they’re coming after me hard. I also got great vibes from Midnight Madness. It was live.”
Davis’ older brother, D’Andre Davis, is currently a freshman at Louisville, averaging 12.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 blocks per game.
“Everything I learned, I learned from him,” D’Ante said. “I’ll always want to be better than him and he’ll always want to make sure he’s better than me. That’s what keeps us both pushing.”
“You could say our play styles are similar. I do think, we’re different players at the same time though.”
