Class of 2021 Big Man Mac Etienne Names Top 4

Mac Etienne, the 6-foot-10 center from Brewster Academy (NH) and the PSA Cardinals AAU, has cut his list to four schools.

Etienne is down to Illinois, Marquette, Miami, and UCLA.

He cut Kansas, Louisville, Syracuse, and UConn.

Etienne took official visits to Illinois in March and Marquette last October.

He broke his recruitment down with StockRisers.

Illinois: “Illinois is a great program that I have built a great relationship with, and with Kofi [Cockburn] potentially going to the draft, It would be a great fit for me. and I loved my visit there.”

Marquette: “Marquette was the first school to come to an open gym for me and they were also my first high-major offer. In addition, I have a great relationship with Coach DK (Killings) and Wojo (Steve Wojciechowski). And with Theo (John) leaving it would be a great fit.”

Miami: “Miami is a great fit and with the commitment of one of my closest friends in commit Bensley Joseph and my family being out there it would be a great option for me.”

UCLA: “UCLA has a rich history and is known for producing NBA players. I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and I could see a great fit with the program.”

“I’ll probably commit within the next month and I don’t plan on enrolling early,” Etienne said.

According to 247Sports, Etienne is ranked No. 41 nationally in the Class of 2021 and is the No. 7 center.
