Kentucky’s MTE now set as non-conference schedule shapes up

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Kentucky’s MTE is now set as its non-conference schedule is shaping up.

The Wildcats will host Richmond, Detroit-Mercy and Morehead State Nov. 25, 27 and 29, a source confirmed. There will be three doubleheaders across the three days, so each team will play the other three during the event. The addition of Richmond was first reported by Jeff Goodman after ZAGSBLOG first reported Hartford was out of the event.

Kentucky will also play the following non-conference games:

Dec. 1 – vs. Kansas (Champions Classic, Orlando)

Dec. 6 – vs. Georgia Tech (Holiday Hoopsgiving, Atlanta)

Dec. 12 – Notre Dame (Rupp)

Dec. 19 – UCLA (CBS Sports Classic)

Dec. 26 – at Louisville

Dec. 29/30 – SEC begins 18-game schedule

Jan. 30 – Big 12/SEC Challenge (opponent TBD)
