Jakai Robinson, the 6-foot-5, 205-pound shooting guard from National Christian (MD) and Team Takeover, committed to Miami on Sunday.
Ranked the No. 13 shooting guard in the Class of 2021 by 247Sports.com, Robinson chose the Hurricanes over UConn, N.C. State, Georgetown and Seton Hall.
“I picked Miami because I was able to build a great relationship with coach [Jim] Larranaga and coach Courtney,” he said. “The campus is great and they made me feel like I would fit right in. I would bring versatility, shooting, rebounding, defending, getting to the rim and making plays for my teammates.”
Robinson joins point guard Bensley Joseph and shooting guard Nisine Poplar in Miami’s 2021 class, now ranked No. 12 by 247.
National Christian Academy & @TTOBasketball wing Jakai Robinson just became the third player and second ESPN 💯 prospect to commit to Miami in the class of 2021.
