Breon Pass to N.C. State

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Breon Pass, the 6-foot point guard from Reidsville, N.C., committed to N.C. State on Saturday.

He also considered Georgia Tech, Providence and East Carolina, per 247Sports.com.

Pass averaged 21.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 3.2 steals as a point guard for a Reidsville team that advanced to the state quarterfinals. He shot 44.2 percent from three-point range.

A two-sport star who also plays wide receiver in football, Pass opted to pursue basketball over football offers from N.C. State, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, among others.

Kevin Keatts’ club now has the No. 13-ranked class in 2021 per 247. Pass joins shooting guard Terquavion Smith and power forward Ernest Ross.
