Arizona lands Class of 2021 four-star guard K.J. Simpson

By JACOB POLACHECK

Class of 2021 guard K.J. Simpson has committed to Arizona.

Simpson, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound combo guard from West Hills (CA) Chaminade and the West Coast Elite AAU Program, chose Arizona over California, Colorado, Loyola Marymount and USC.

Simpson is the first commit in Arizona’s 2021 class.

“K.J. is one of the best point guards in the country,” West Coast Elite coach Ryan Silver said. “Tough, smart and a great leader.”

According to 247Sports, Simpson is ranked as the No. 7 combo guard and No. 95 overall player in the Class of 2021.
