Angelo Brizzi is headed to Villanova.
Brizzi, the 6-foot-3, 170-pound point guard from Highland (VA), announced his commitment to Villanova on Monday over Arizona, Michigan, California, Northwestern, Colorado, Dartmouth and Davidson.
Brizzi broke down his commitment for ZAGSBLOG Monday:
“They recruited me the hardest of all the schools,” he said by text. “And their recent success with winning and developing players.”
He joins fellow four-stars Trey Patterson, Nnanna Njoku and Jordan Longino as the fourth commit in Villanova’s 2021 class. The Wildcats currently have the No. 1 ranked recruiting class in 2021, per 247Sports.com.
“I think we could be great together and win a lot of games!” Brizzi said.
Brizzi is yet to take a visit to Villanova.
According to 247Sports.com, Brizzi is ranked as the No. 19 point guard and No. 128 overall player in the Class of 2021.
“Villanova is getting a gritty point guard that wants to win,” Brizzi said.
