Langston Love, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Montverde (FL) Academy, has committed to Baylor.
“Baylor is a Christian school with great academics,” Love told ZAGSBLOG by text Wednesday. “And I have a great relationship with the coaching staff.”
Ranked the No. 4 shooting guard in 2021 per 247Sports.com, he also considered Stanford, Texas, UCLA and Arkansas.
“The coaching staff is the main part of the decision,” Love said. “This staff has built a great relationship with me over the past two years.”

Due to the pandemic, Love hasn’t visited Baylor recently but said he previously took two unofficial visits.
“I like the campus and also the atmosphere and the vibe that was given off,” Love said. “The coaching staff was very sincere and I felt like this played a huge part.”
Montverde coach Kevin Boyle said Baylor is getting a “great defender who can really score from mid-range or three. I think he will be a great player at Baylor. Langston defines toughness. It’s a great decision. Baylor has been in the Top 10 on a regular basis.”
