Syracuse transfer Jalen Carey will announce his new destination on Friday..
Rhode Island, Georgetown, Alabama, UConn, Marquette, Creighton and BYU have all expressed interest.
Carey, a 6-3 sophomore from Harlem, N.Y., averaged 1.5 points in 11.5 minutes while missing significant time this season with a thumb injury.
Carey is one of several Syracuse players to announce their transfer, along with Brycen Goodine and Howard Washington.
