He was ruled ineligible last season by the Georgia High School Association after transferring in. But he worked out with the team, which included fellow Auburn commit Sharife Cooper.
“Dylan is very underrated and for the most part unseen,” said Omar Cooper, Sharife’s father and the coach of the AOT AAU program. “He is skilled, athletic and will surprise a lot of people at the next level!”
Said McEachern coach Mike Thompson: “Dylan is the ultimate teammate. He has a work ethic matched by very few players in my career. He has elite athleticism and offensive skills! Wherever he lands that program will be better for having Dylan.”
Auburn’s class was ranked No. 9 by 247 entering the day and previously included Cooper, shooting guard Justin Powell and power forwards J.T. Thor and Chris Moore.
