By ADAM ZAGORIA

Kennedy Chandler, the 6-foot-1 point guard from Briarcrest Christian (TN) and MoKan Elite AAU, has trimmed his list to five schools.

Chandler is down to Memphis, Kentucky, Duke, Tennessee, and North Carolina. He cut Florida State, Kansas, Michigan, Ole Miss and USC from his previous list of 10.

As a junior, he averaged 22.2 points, 4.3 assists and 2.6 steals per game to lead the Saints to the TSSAA Division II Class AA state title game.

Last year on the Nike EYBL Circuit, Chandler averaged 14.7 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.2 rebounds in 19 games played.

According to 247Sports, Chandler is ranked No. 15 nationally and is the No. 2 point guard.
