By RYAN McMULLEN

Creighton junior guard Ty-Shon Alexander has announced he will remain in the NBA Draft and will sign with PROSPORT Management, according to John Fanta.

Alexander averaged 16.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in his junior season.

He earned First Team All-Big East honors this season. Alexander also was named a Third Team All-American by USA Today.

Creighton on Tuesday reached out to Monmouth transfer Ray Salnave with the hopes of having him replace Alexander. Salnave averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists last season.
