Louisville adds Radford grad transfer Carlik Jones

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Radford grad transfer Carlik Jones has committed to Louisville, he announced Sunday on his Instagram page.

He will be immediately eligible for the 2020-21 season.

The 6-foot Jones averaged 20 points, 5.5 assists, and 5.1 rebounds last season which earned him Big South Player of the Year honors. He was the only Division 1 player to average 20, 5 and 5 last season.

Jones lifted the Highlanders to the NCAA Tournament in 2018 after defeating Liberty on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

Louisville also adds shooting guard D’Andre Davis and power forward Jayden Traynor in its recruiting class, while junior college star Jay Scrubb is testing the NBA Draft waters.
