NCAA Tournament Selection Committee unveils top 16 teams

The NCAA Tournament Selection Committee unveiled its top 16 seeded teams on Saturday. CBS released the top four seeds in each region on The Bracket Preview Show.

The selection committee seeds teams as if the NCAA Tournament began prior to games on Saturday, Feb. 4.

Baylor was the unanimous No. 1 seed while Kansas, Gonzaga and San Diego State filled out the remaining No. 1 seeds.

The ACC and Big East had three teams each among the top 16, while the Big Ten had two.

Selection Sunday will take place on Sunday, Mar. 15, when the full field of 68 is revealed. The NCAA Tournament will begin with the First Four on Mar. 17 & 18 in Dayton.
