2022 guard Isaac McKneely Recaps West Virginia Visit, Updates Recruitment

By RYAN McMULLEN

Isaac McKneely, the 6-foot-3 guard from Poca (WV), took an unofficial visit to West Virginia last weekend and broke down his visit and recruitment with ZAGSBLOG.

“I loved everything about the visit,” said McKneely. “I got there and they showed me around all the facilities and locker room and all that. They gave me great seats to enjoy the game, and the WVU fans are amazing. It was cool to be a part of the fan base.”

McKneely also said, “I have an unofficial visit scheduled with Ohio State for their game against Maryland in February.”

He claimed, “As of right now, Xavier has probably been after me the hardest. Virginia and WVU have also showed a lot of interest.”

He mentioned that coaching staff, style of play, and education will all play a big role in making his decision.

McKneely also is looking to commit before his senior season.

He is playing for Wildcats Select on the Adidas Gauntlet for this upcoming spring.
