St. Joe’s lands Xavier transfer Dahmir Bishop

By JACOB POLACHECK

Xavier freshman guard Dahmir Bishop will transfer to Saint Joseph’s, as first reported by Rivals Thursday.

Bishop, the 6-foot-4 combo guard from Imhotep (PA), left Xavier after just one semester and entered the NCAA transfer portal on January 2.

Bishop played in 10 games for the Musketeers this season, posting averages of 1.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists, while averaging only 12 minutes per game.

As a recruit, Bishop was ranked as the No. 119 overall player in the Class of 2019 and the No. 20 shooting guard.
